The congressman was excited to see the newly-remodeled state-of-the-art facilities 这里的学生 机电一体化 和 非破坏性测试 programs are trained on the latest computer automated 和 robotic systems used by 行业.

Students in the programs receive h和s-on, high-skilled training that's highly sought after by business 和 行业, 和 which leads to quality, high-paying jobs. 博天堂官方的 programs are working to meet local workforce needs, with a near 100 percent placement CTE毕业生的税率.

Senior staff from Senator Jeff Merkley’s office also toured the programs this week. It’s safe to say, they too were very impressed.

As a ranking member of the House Committee on Transportation 和 Infrastructure, 国会议员 DeFazio is in a unique position to provide leadership at the national level for community college programs, said John McArdle, 博天堂官方 director of development 和 government relations.

Entry-level industrial manufacturing positions tend to move quickly up the pay scale, said Becker, with annual paychecks 起价在5万到5.5万美元之间. “College program modernization helps local 行业 to be more efficient 和 globally competitive, which in turn helps create family-wage jobs that stay in the United States,” 麦卡德尔说.
